Monday to Friday 1.30-2/7. All after school duties including some batch cooking and light housekeeping before collection times. Must drive with a Q5 supplied on duty. They also employ a cleaner every day.

Lovely family with gorgeous little boy 1 year and 4 months looking for a tip top daily Nanny to work from end May - mid August. Monday to Friday 8/9-6. All nursery duties related to the little boy. No driving. The role is fundamentally sole charge. Mum occasionally works from home and dad works from home all the time. Grandma also lives with them. They’re looking for someone with bags of energy who is very positive and who can keep up with the little one. Native English speakers only!

Returning clients who now have 3 children are looking for a fun and fabulous Nanny to care for a boy 9, girl 5 and boy 18 months. The role is 80%+ just looking after their youngest but they will need a driver able to do the pm school pick up – there is no way to do this on public transport but there will be no need to take the 18 month old with them. Either (i) grandma will pop over and stay in the house with the little one whilst the Nanny is on the school run; or (ii) sometimes grandma will collect the older two from school and drop them home so no need for the Nanny to do the school run at all! Automatic BMW provided on duty. There are parking restrictions between 10-12 but parents can get permits and pay for them so the Nanny can bring their own car too.
During the holidays, it would be very rare for the Nanny to have all three in the day as the eldest does pretty much back to back sports camps and the middle child also does a fair bit of gymnastics/tennis camp and goes to grandma for the day.
They are searching for a full time nanny because their current nanny is going on mat leave. However, they want someone looking for a full time role as their nanny has told them that she won’t be able to do full time hours due to her own childcare needs. She may come back part time but that would be perfect alongside the new full time Nanny as they were planning on recruiting a second part time nanny anyway. In short, it should make no difference to the new Nanny’s hours if the old Nanny wishes to come back as they will still need someone in the full time 52.5hr role. Monday to Friday. Term times 7.30-6 and holidays 7.45/8-6. Both parents work full time from the office but on a Friday, mum tries to work from home. Dad occasionally will do so too. There are no plans to send the youngest to nursery for a long time. He will likely start Sept 2027.
All nursery duties + Ocado shop order and putting deliveries away.
No pets. No travel.
Cleaner also employed 3 times a week.

Lovely American family interested in somebody to provide nanny services for about 20-25 hours per week in the afternoons (roughly 2-7PM) with potentially more hours in the school holidays. They have a 6 year old boy and an 8 year old girl who go to school in St. John's Wood. They live in nearby Swiss Cottage NW3. They need somebody to help with logistics of picking them up, bringing them to nearby activities or home, and also helping to prepare their dinner and help keep them on task for a modest amount of studies at home. Driver helpful but not essential Parking provided. Mum and dad both work full time. Separate cleaner employed. No pets and no travel.

Lovely couple who has a gorgeous little girl 3 years old who goes to nursery is considering the following option: 6.30-9pm Monday to Friday minimum - at least 2 evenings a week to 11pm ie a bit of flexibility around work events and ideally 2-3 hrs on Saturday and Sunday but not essential. The parents have unpredictable jobs and so there are going to be a lot of days where they won’t need the nanny every evening for the full duration as one of them will be able to come home but they will pay them anyway to have the security of someone being around to take care of the little one.
They also have a cat so the ideal person must be a cat lover. The little girl is learning French and Spanish at nursery so someone who is fluent in either of those languages or has a working knowledge of those languages would be most welcome!
No driving but there is a parking space though!

The Search:
The position is for a rota nanny, working on a two-week-on, two-week-off basis, having sole care of the children through both the day and night. Children’s bedtime is at 7pm. The other 2 weeks will be covered by another (existing) nanny.
They are looking for an experienced, easy-going, emotionally mature individual who is happy to adapt to ever changing schedules and travel with the family.
The candidate needs to be organised, highly proactive and have a professional approach to the job. The clients are seeking a developmental aware nanny with previous experience (5 years+). They need to have the ability to organise age-appropriate activities, cook to meal plans, clean and maintain good diary management. A high level of initiative and discretion are also important.
Start Date: End April 2025
Rota: 14 Days ON/OFF (Monday - Sunday)
Salary: negotiable dependent on experience
Language: Fluent English speaker, French speaking a plus but not essential
Requirements:

- Happy to support a limited screen household (including nanny not scrolling on their phone a lot)
- Happy to make simple meals for the children
- Creative with great imagination and happy to read stories for hours!
- Comfortable with pet care (big dog and cat in East Sussex, Guinea pigs in London)
- Familiar with London and comfortable driving around London
- Fit, as a large house in London with many stairs and likes long countryside walks/playing. The Nanny will have her own double room with en suite and can keep some belongings there when they’re not on duty
- Strike a balance between having fun with the children and having boundaries when necessary
